Materials does not normally perform field inspection on:

Concrete Curb, Gutter and Paved Ditch (Sec 609.10)
Integral Curb (Sec 609.20)
Asphalt Curb (Sec 609.30)
Drain Basin Asphalt Curb (Sec 609.40)

609.3.1 Rock Ditch Liner (for Sec 609.60)

This article establishes the procedures for inspection and reporting of rock material used in ditch liner. Portland cement concrete and grout, if used, shall be inspected and reported in accordance with the applicable articles of the Engineering Policy Guide.

609.3.1.1 Procedure

Rock material shall be visually inspected at destination upon delivery for quality to determine compliance with Sec 609.60.

609.3.1.2 Report (Records)

Rock material shall be reported using SiteManager. "Visual Inspection" shall be shown for Acceptance Method.

609.3.2 Rock Lining (for Sec 609.70)

This article establishes procedures for inspecting and reporting of rock material used in rock lining.

609.3.2.1 Procedure

The stone or broken concrete shall be visually inspected at destination upon delivery for quality and size. A sufficient number of individual pieces shall be measured to determine compliance with Sec 611.30 for Type 2 rock blanket. No Laboratory Samples are required.

609.3.2.2 Report (Records)

The stone or broken concrete shall be reported using SiteManager. "Visual Inspection" shall be shown for Acceptance Method. The Remarks or a Free Form test shall indicate the approximate number of pieces measured.
