The Bridge Inspection Rating guidance shall be used by MoDOT's internal staff, as well as consultants, contractors, local agencies and may be used by other department of transportation agencies as a reference. The manual was developed to ensure uniformity in the inventory and appraisal of all bridges within the state of Missouri. It defines the general guidelines and processes of MoDOT's Non-State Bridge Inspection program along with giving specific load rating procedures for bridges in Missouri.
