1130.2 Laboratory Testing Guidelines

This article establishes procedures for sampling, testing and reporting traffic signal lamps purchased to comply with the bid request issued by MoDOT.

1130.2.1 Testing

Samples shall be subjected to a Laboratory visual examination to determine compliance for light center length, markings, position of burning, bulb type, base type, and filament type. Manufacturer's certifications shall be checked for compliance with all requirements of the bid request. Data on Laboratory findings shall be recorded in Laboratory workbooks.
