This article establishes procedures for Laboratory testing of concrete cylinders for portland cement concrete base.

Procedure. Concrete cylinders shall be tested for compressive strength according to AASHTO T22. Test results and calculations shall be recorded through AASHTOWARE Project (AWP).

Sample Record. The sample record shall be completed in AASHTOWARE Project (AWP), as described in AWP MA Sample Record, General, with a notation in the remarks, "Specimens submitted for compressive strength at the age indicated and the test results are for informational purposes only." Test results shall be reported on the appropriate templates under the Tests tab.
