7/28/21: In EPG 7184.108.40.206 Elastomeric Bearings, guidance for bearing pads at intermediate bents has been clarified.
Reporting Damaged Guardrail or Guard Cable
7/27/21: In EPG 606 Guardrail and Guard Cable, a contact number for reporting damaged guardrail or guard cable is now presented.
7/23/21: This article provides guidance for the new contracting method, Fixed Price Variable Scope (FPVS) Contracting, that has been approved by the FHWA.
7/23/21: The Seal Coat Guidelines and JSP package were updated. New Seal Coat Book Job Guidelines and Seal Coat Book Job JSP Package were also added.

7/21/21: Guidance for handling bridge sign attachments was expanded and updated to current established practice.

Material Supplier CUF Frequency
7/15/21: In EPG 220.127.116.11 Commercially Useful Function (CUF), updated guidance about material supplier CUF frequency to every 30 days, regardless of DBE activity.
7/1/21: MoDOT has recently approved a new, MASH-tested composite block for guardrail.
System I Structural Steel Coating
6/30/21: In EPG 718.104.22.168 Structural Steel Protective Coatings (Nonweathering Steel), guidance about System I finish field coat was clarified. In EPG 751.50 Standard Detailing Notes, additional options for System I structural steel protective coatings were provided.
6/23/21: Guidance for project bid proposals that include DBE goals has been clarified and expanded.
6/16/21: Guidance for barrier and railing options on existing bridges has been simplified.
6/15/21: Expanded guidance is now available about how to assign a contract.
6/11/21: For greater convenience, a new "effective date" column has been added for each TA in these tables.
Prestressed Girders and Beams
6/10/21: In EPG 722.214.171.124 Girder and Beam Haunch Reinforcement, EPG 751.21.3 Details, EPG 7126.96.36.199 Geometric Dimensions, EPG 7188.8.131.52 Shear, EPG 7184.108.40.206 MoDOT Standard Girder Strand Arrangements, EPG 7220.127.116.11 NU Standard Girders, EPG 718.104.22.168.2 Shear Reinforcement, EPG 722.214.171.124.3 Anchorage Zone Reinforcement, and EPG 751.50 Standard Detailing Notes, guidance about end section reinforcement for NU girders was revised as was guidance on specifying debonding regions. The requirement for a lifting loop detail was removed as was the reference to the 5-inch projection of WWR. Notes were also revised or removed in accordance with spec book revisions.

5/25/21: New guidance is available to clarify hard hat safety policy.
5/25/21: The Contract Leveling Course (CLC) contractor pdf files and Contract Seal Coat pdf plan sheets, in EPG 402 Bituminous Surface Leveling and EPG 409 Seal Coat, respectively, were updated. Several revisions involved safety edge, flag assemblies and rumble strip spacing for CLC projects and flag assemblies for seal coat projects.
5/18/21: Guidance is now available for two new Amended Attorney Services Agreement contracts (CC11 and CC12).
5/10/212: The CUF Determination Form, discussed in EPG 146.3 Commercially Useful Function Verifications, has been revised with more open ended questions that assist in determining whether a DBE is performing a Commercially Useful Function. The form now includes a field observation section for inspectors to note what they saw in the field.
4/30/21: Guidance about multiple title pages has been provided.
4/29/21: New guidance is available for crashworthy end terminals that are being installed in the vicinity of curb. Curb has not been tested with a CET and this guidance will help address questions and concerns about this.
