WELCOME
RECENT POLICY CHANGES IN THE EPG
Rocks and dirt fly as a blast clears more ground for the new intersection on Rte. 179 in Jefferson City. Crews began work in July on the $7 million project that will provide access to the new St. Mary's Health Center.
Cassville Sr. Maintenance Worker Clay Vaught mixes herbicide chemicals. Vaught and Cassville Sr. Maintenance Worker Jesse Durossette, behind the wheel, spray a Rte. 76 roadside near Cassville.

MoDOT has made great strides to build a good transportation system and increase taxpayers' trust in its ability to deliver what was promised. Innovative concepts, such as Practical Design and design-build, were used to deliver those commitments and have made MoDOT a leader in the transportation industry.

These forward-thinking, innovative concepts are reflected in the ENGINEERING POLICY GUIDE (EPG). This document provides a single reference for all engineering and engineering-related guidance by combining the former Right of Way, Design, Bridge, Construction, Traffic and Maintenance manuals.

MediaWiki, the engine behind the Wikipedia on the World Wide Web, is the software delivering the EPG. Millions of hits on the EPG endorse this format to be easy to navigate and pleasing to read. A small HELP ARTICLE is included to assist with helpful hints on how to use the EPG as well as other points of interest.

Ken Cherry, Regional Maintenance Supervisor in North St. Louis County, discusses the dangers of impaired driving with a safety fair visitor.

Watch an interview with Mari Heeter, SW District Sr. Right of Way Specialist. Joplin faced a EF5 tornado on May 22nd. If you would like to make a donation to District 7 employees, please send checks to: D7 Highway Credit Union, 3929 E. 7th Street, Suite A, Joplin, MO 64801. Make checks payable to the D7 Highway Credit Union and reference D7 Employee Fund in the memo.
