130.4 Value Engineering Change Proposals

Value Engineering Change Proposals (VECPs) and Practical Design Value Engineering Change Proposals (PDVECPs) are submitted by the contractor and approved or rejected by the Engineer in accordance with Sec 104.6 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. When approved, contractors will receive 50 percent of VECP and 25 percent of PDVECP net savings.
