RECENT POLICY CHANGES IN THE EPG
Rushing flood waters sweep a house against a Rte. 89 bridge. If flood waters can take a house, they can take your car off the road. Do not drive around barricades or attempt to cross flooded roads.
To honor 100 years of service to Missouri, we have produced a 5-minute video, MoDOT’s Centennial, that looks back over our landmark events. It revisits our early years and follows the changes that made us who we are today.
The Regional Bridge Crew, repairing a joint on an I-49 bridge north of Jasper, includes, from left, Inter. Maintenance Worker Scott Oliver, Inter. Maintenance Worker Adam Hawkins, Sr. Maintenance Worker Daniel Myers and Sr. Maintenance Worker Chad Barger.

MoDOT has made great strides to build a good transportation system and increase taxpayers' trust in its ability to deliver what was promised. Innovative concepts, such as Practical Design and design-build, were used to deliver those commitments and have made MoDOT a leader in the transportation industry.

These forward-thinking, innovative concepts are reflected in the ENGINEERING POLICY GUIDE (EPG). This document provides a single reference for all engineering and engineering-related guidance by combining the former Right of Way, Design, Bridge, Construction, Traffic and Maintenance manuals.

MediaWiki, the engine behind the Wikipedia on the World Wide Web, is the software delivering the EPG. Millions of hits on the EPG endorse this format to be easy to navigate and pleasing to read. A small HELP ARTICLE is included to assist with helpful hints on how to use the EPG as well as other points of interest.

Sr. Historic Preservation Specialist Michael Meyer instructs two interns, Kim Proctor (SE Mo State U. student) and Catherine Gravemann (U. of Mo - Columbia student), about archeology and requirements to determine environmental impacts for the Champ Clark Bridge project.
Perhaps you've wondered how many hits the most popular EPG articles have. As of early August, the numbers of hits are:
