RECENT POLICY CHANGES IN THE EPG
Sr. Design Technician Chuck Schumann was the first on the scene of an accident near Moberly. He called 911, pried open the car's door and got the woman to safety until emergency personnel arrived.
A Massman, Traylor, Alberici (MTA) employee conducts a splice inspection on the final section of the middle span of the Stan Musial Veterans Memorial Bridge connecting St. Louis and Illinois. If you are wondering, he is on the Illinois side of the bridge.
Sometimes the EPG is proud to just show off our skillful employees. Some of the Normandy Maintenance Building employees enjoy a recent photo. From left to right: Tim Grady (Int. Mntc. Worker), Mike Catching (Mntc. Crew Leader), Rich Jones (Sr. Mntc. Worker), Stacy Gerard (Mntc. Crew Leader), Ralph Brooks (Mntc. Supervisor, center, standing), Matt McCarty (Mntc. Worker), Ken Wich (Sr. Mntc. Worker) and Bill Bernsen (Int. Mntc. Worker).

MoDOT has made great strides to build a good transportation system and increase taxpayers' trust in its ability to deliver what was promised. Innovative concepts, such as Practical Design and design-build, were used to deliver those commitments and have made MoDOT a leader in the transportation industry.

These forward-thinking, innovative concepts are reflected in the ENGINEERING POLICY GUIDE (EPG). This document provides a single reference for all engineering and engineering-related guidance by combining the former Right of Way, Design, Bridge, Construction, Traffic and Maintenance manuals.

MediaWiki, the engine behind the Wikipedia on the World Wide Web, is the software delivering the EPG. Millions of hits on the EPG endorse this format to be easy to navigate and pleasing to read. A small HELP ARTICLE is included to assist with helpful hints on how to use the EPG as well as other points of interest.

Crews from Fred Weber Inc., Millstone Bangert Inc. and Kolb Grading, forming the joint venture Page Constructors LLC, drive pile for the Gutermuth Rd. bridge over the Rte. 364 Page Ave. Phase 3 in Cottleville.
